Responding in color

I notice that if I send an e mail and ask a bunch of questions some people
like to respond in between text in different colors.

I just tried this with someone who sent me a bunch of questions.

I made sure I was in html mode, and used the color selector.

The only problem was that every time I moved down a few lines to answer the
next question, the color reverted back to black.

Just seeing what are the best techniques for this.

Thanks!

This is by design. After setting a current font colour, when you move
the cursor out of the current block, the font colour will yake yhe colour
of the surrounding text. Imagine how difficult it would be to edit text if
the font attributes were 'sticky' in the way you seem to desire?

Thanks Barry:
So when people respond in-between my lines in a different color. This is
what they are doing -- writing, then clicking font thing, writing, clicking
the font thing. Etc.

This is the easiest way to do this? And you do have to do it in html mode?
Thanks!

What kind of replies are involved? If you mean the post in the newsgroups
it's automatically done by Entourage, depending only on the number of ">"
signs there are. If this is what you mean, just stay away from html, set
your "Message" settings to plain text and that'll do. Much easier and
simpler than HTML...

If it's not try to be more precise in the type of messages.

Bernard, no, I just mean anyone who replies to a long e mail message of
mine.

They break up my original e mail, and respond in a colored text.
