restore entourage emails

i just reformated my mac. before doing so i transfered the entire hard
drive to an external hard drive. i have since reinstalled office mac
2004. before doing that i exported all of my entourage info. now i am
trying to find the emails i had in my inbox and other folders. does
anyone know where i can find them?

Hi,

if you transferred your entire hard drive to the external hard drive, then
you should have a folder called Microsoft User Data in your ~/Documents
folder (on the external hard drive). Simply copy that folder into the Mac's
~/Documents folder, and you should have your old data back. Before you
overwrite the current MUD folder, you should turn off Office Notifications
(Entourage>Turn Off Office Notifications) and quit any running Office
applications.
