Greetings,
My computer's hard drive got corrupted and I had to erase its contents.
Before I did that, I saved my Microsoft User Data folder along with
the identities I had on it.
Now that I've reinstalled Entourage, I'm wondering how I can restore my
old messages. I attempted to do this by both placing my old identities
folder into the newly created Microsoft User Data folder, and by
replacing new messages files created by Entourage with my old files.
Both times, however, I received an error message saying, "This identity
cannot be opened by this version of Entourage." The thing is, I am
using the same version of Entourage, just a clean installation of the
program.
Does anyone know what to do in this situation? If anyone could assist
me with this matter, I'd be very grateful.
