Restoring Office 2000 Pro following reinstallation of xp home

I have a dilemma. Recently, my CD of Office 2000 Pro blew up in my CD Player
(contrary to MythBusters conclusions!). Now, I had a corrupted profile in XP
Home and had to do a new install over old. All my existing users profiles
have been renamed username.WINDOWS, but more importantly, I cannot launch
Office, I believe it is no longer registered - is this true? Since I cannot
reinstall due to a heavily partitioned CD Disk, what are my options?

Office 2000 doesn't need to be registered or activated to work. So,
basically, you're SOL without the CD.
