restoring old entourage data from user data to a new computer

Can anyone help with this issue? My powerbook crashed and I only have
the Main Identity from a few days before the crash. I tried to replace
it as the "Help" asked but it did not work. Any tips? Thanks

Quit ALL office apps. Open up 'activity monitor', search for the process
called 'database daemon' and quit that process.

Now trash the current MUD folder and replace it with your saved version.

When you restart entourage you should have restored the info to it's
previous state.
