resume power point presentation

I teach from power point slides. I would like to "pause" a presentation to
view a web site (or work with another program). The only way to do so
without losing my place in the presentation is to embed a link to web
browser. Is there a more straightforward way to do this?

One option. If you tap the start button on your keyboard it brings up the
menu bar on the bottom of the page. You could launch the browser from there
or go to a file etc... when finished, x out of the browser or file and you'll
return to the presentation screen. Right click on the screen and the bottom
menu bar will disappear.

Before you begin, start both PowerPoint and your webbrowser (or that other
program). During the presentation, use Alt+Tab to change between the two
windows.

Kind regards,
