retaining EMBEDDED link in a pdf in entourage

I created a pdf in acrobat professional with an link to a website. i want to
insert it in an email i send so when it comes up the link is still working.
When i test it it shows up in the email but the link doesnt work anymore.
Only if i save the file and open it in acrobat.

any ideas?

To my knowledge, Entourage is merely displaying the PDF content as a
static image. Links and forms will not work.

id like an image on the pdf to link. its an article and i'd like the image in
the article to link to a page

Sorry, Entourage does not support clickable links within a PDF
attachment. Your readers will need to open the PDF in Acrobat or Preview
to be able to click the links.
