Return receipt Entourage 2004

I am sure this has been covered before but I cannot see it. Is there a
method for requesting a return receipt for emails sent (like Outlook or
Eudora) so you can tell when someone¹s opened an email? I have seen one
workaround but it fails for me. Has anyone managed to achieve this with
Entourage 2004?

Hi Drew.
You should always try to reply to the newsgroup, that way, you make sure
that other people can read your messages and add their own suggestions.
As to your question, I can't say if that solution works for me since I don't
use return receipts. Maybe someone else knows how to solve that problem.

A small hint here. I have set up the infamous header to request a receipt
being mailed back to me. It works fine BUT you cannot see the receipt if you
use Entourage!!

I can see the receipts if I use Outlook on a PC but Entourage just ignores
them (apparently because they are not mail messages).

There were some postings about this about a month ago.

Yes, I've implemented this solution for "Read" receipts. I actually have a
separate email account set up for this, adding the extra header by default.
It's a bit of a clunky work-around but the bottom line is that it works.

What I can't seem to find out anywhere is what the header is to request a
DELIVERY receipt, as you can do in Outlook in Windows.

Anybody know???
