Revision Contol of Powerpoint 2007 Files

I am looking for a way to perform revision contol of ppt and pptx files.
Using CVS this takes up a huge amount of disk space. Any suggestions on how
to do this?

I had thought that 2007 included a 'slide repository' for this purpose but I
can't find it anyplace in the software.

I think the easiest solution would be to install a SharePoint server.

You need a SharePoint Server site running MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint
Services) in order to get the slide library features.

In addition, to get those revision controls that notify you if slides in the
library have been updated, you must be using an enterprise version of Office
(Professional Plus or Enterprise) or the Ultimate version (which is
available via retail channels). Office Standard, Office Professional, Home
and Student, Small Business, and any others don't give you this capability.
