RFI's, letters, FWD's etc

I see that Microsoft Project has the ability to track costs and scheduling,
but does it have the abilty to generate RFI's (requests for information),
letters and field work directives for my subcontractors or to my contractor.

I really wanted to invest in Prolog or Expedition but the user fees are
2500-3000 USD per user. A little outrageous if you ask me even though they
are exceptional project management choices.

Thanks,

Neilm

Neil,
Project is a planning and scheduling application, not a full fledged
contracting documents suite. The server version of Project (i.e. Project
Server) has more enterprise capability than the stand alone version but
I doubt it can easily do the things you mention. However, this newsgroup
is dedicated to the standalone version. You might want to try our sister
newsgroup, microsoft.public.project.server.
