Ribbon displaying differently on 2 PCS

We have several PCs in the training room, all with (apparently) the same
resolution, on one screen the buttons on the ribbon are displayed vertically
within a group and some displayed horizontally. Has anybody got any ideas
why this should happen?

The Ribbon is designed to auto scale. If you are seeing some commands
stacked on one computer and on another they are displayed horizontally then
the display area is different. You noted the resolution is the same but are
the monitors the same?
