row height adjustment in PPT

Hello all, this may sound like an silly question; I am trying to adjust the
height of one row of a Power Point 2002 native table. For some reason, I
can't shrink it, and it automatically resizes to its original size. I've
tried to eliminate all the content in that row, reduce the font size of the
row but nothing works. I am sure I am missing something obvious.

Many thanks for your help.

According to Microsoft Tech Support, PowerPoint has an internal limit of 6 x
6 inches for this type of object. Spreadsheets or table larger than 6" in
height or width will get cropped when they are pasted into PowerPoint.

You might try just deleting the row and andding another. I sometimes see odd
things like this happen especially when I've pasted into the table text from
Word or a PPT placeholder.

Unfortunately, PPT tables don't give us a way to specify row height like
Word tables do. If you're desperate, you can do the table in Word and
Edit/Paste Special/picture in PPT. Then use Recolor Picture on the Picture
toolbar to change the text color(s) if needed.
