Rows Question

Hello, I have a set of Rows with say like 7 dates one by
one underneath each other- I am interested in a formula or
setting that will show at the bottom the total # of rows
containing those dates so if its 3 dates like this example

9/17/04

9/18/04

9/20/04

At the bottom it should add the columns to have 3 as a
total and not so much the data in the cells. just 3 dates
added or whatever the total # of rows is with that #
listed under neath them.
