RSS feeds

Our users on new PCs have Office 2007, using Outlook 2007 for email. When
they first started Outlook they got a message about subscribing to RSS
feeds. One user said yes and gets hundreds of unwanted emails from MSNBC
which we have created a rule to delete as they come in. What is the point
of the RSS feeds for a corporate user, or for anyone for that matter? It
just seems to add more clutter to the inbox.

Hi, M,

This probably isn't the best forum for debating the value of RSS feeds for
corporate users, but I am a corporate user and subscribe to eight or ten RSS
feeds related to my job function. It has great value for me.

Rather than creating a rule to delete RSS messages, why not unsubscribe to
the feed you no longer want?

One mans clutter is another mans news. :)

You can set the rss feeds to pull from any rss source. You dont have to
limit your feeds to msnbc.
