Outlook 2003 refuses to remember connections between email accounts
and rules.
I want to run rules on messages received through particular accounts.
I have about half a dozen accounts.
I can set them up just fine. But the rule persists in using a
different account. It switches when you press the "apply" button.
It is not consistent on which account dominates. I can change the
behaviour by changing the order of the accounts.
There is a knowledgebase reference to this. But the solution -- start
from scratch with a new rule -- does not work.
This happened before. I got it to work eventually. But a machine
rebuild has put me back to square one.
Anyone know of a reliable way of making an account stick to a rule?
