I have a couple of rules which direct mail into designated folders -
only they won't. It's very simple. Just one criteria. "If subject
contains Project move to Project"

Any ideas what's going wrong?

I had a similar issue. The solution was to look at the first rule (in my
case the one that checks for SPAM) and Un-Check the "Do not apply other
rules ..." box.

Interesting. In order to 'un-grey' and un-tick the "Do not apply other
rules.." I have to first delete all actions. However, as soon as I add
a "move to" action the box the "Do not apply..." box automatically ticks
itself.

That's right. Any rule action that moves a message or runs an applescript
will prevent subsequent rules from running.

In Entourage 2004 you can run another rule after running an AppleScript.
It's only after a rule moving a message that you can't.

Can you now? I must have missed that feature change. Thanks Paul.
