Rules: Move message makes option greyed out

Jonny

Hi,

I have a dilemma.
Have a general rule for mails to a certain account to be moved into a
certain folder.
But some of these mails are replies to an invitation to join a mailing
list. I am trying to make the sender of these mails to be included in a
"group". These particular mails have a special subject line which I'm
using to separate them from other mails.
But since the general rule about moving all messages is greying out the
option to uncheck the "Do not apply other rules to messages that meet
this criteria", I can't make them included to the group.
I hope my description made sense.
Can I fix this some way?

TIA
Jonny

A prior rule is acting on the message and no additional rules are able to
act on that message. You can drag rules to a higher position, but MLM and
JMF will always run before rules if either one is enabled.

Actions which Move messages or run AppleScripts cannot be followed by other
rules.

I don't think that's the case for the "Run AppleScript" action any more in
the latest versions of Entourage.

Correct.

I'm "bumping" this, hoping someone might be able to shed some light on
the issue....
