rules problem

I deleted all of my rules because they just weren't working well and mail is still showing up in folders other than my inbox. When I go to Rules there are none listed. Am I looking in the wrong spot or is it a bug?

Try Tools>Mailing List Manager. If there are any rules in there but you do
not actually use the MLM, feel free to delete them.
