Rules, schedules changes not taking effect

This is getting more frustrating. After deleting my rules and starting over,
I continue to get the same error messages. Now my scheduling settings are
not taking effect either. My IMAP account suddenly is no longer checked when
hitting "send and receive all."

I have been very pleased with Entourage 2004 for the most part. This,
however, is rather annoying.

I will trash the related files and do a rebuild (once again).

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.
