Rules - Stop Processing More Rules

Is this qualifier specific to the type of email it is being applied to, or
does it stop ALL further rule processing?

SO, if I had an email from [email protected], and I wanted all mail form this
person that had "Today" in the subject to go to folder_1, but then all other
email from [email protected] to go into folder_2, could I:

Set up a rule that would stipulate that any email from [email protected] that
had "Today" in the subject go to folder_1, also selecting "Stop Processing
More Rules", so that I could then have the next rule say that any mail from
[email protected] be put in folder_2 -- since any with "Today" in the subject
would already be "gone"?

Yes, you have it correct. It stops all further processing of messages from
[email protected] and Today in the subject -- whatever the conditions of the
rule are.
