What is the correct syntax for putting mulitple sender's addresses in a
single rule? I want to route all messages from known good senders to a
separate mailbox and don't want to create a rule for each sender.

You can create a rule that applies to anyone in a contactfolder you specify.
Start a blank rule (not based on a template) and it should be listed in the
"conditions" step.

Use the "from person or distribution list" condition. That one allows you to include multiple addresses.
