I have some questions about Outlook 2000 rules. Can anyone recommend a good
tutorial or book?
Here are a couple of specific questions, but I also just want to get a
better general understanding of how rules work.
1. I assume that each message will be filtered by each rule until a 'stop
processing rules' element is encountered?
For example, if I have a rule that
a. for each message that arrives
b. look for "foo" in the subject line
c. move the email to a folder 'spam'
followed by another rule that says,
a. for each message that arrives
b. look for from 'joe'
c. move the email to a folder 'joe'
What happens if the email has "foo" in the subject line and is from Joe?
Will it be moved twice unless I include a 'stop processing rules' element?
Many thanks.
