Run time error on exit from Outlook 2000

S

Sharon Weeks

For the last ten days, I have received a runtime error message when exiting via any method from Outlook 2000. Following error message, the next dialog say the program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Pressing OK on that screen returns me to the desktop and all other programs seem to run OK without rebooting

The runtime error message: "Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Pls contact support team for information

Also, when attempting to use Scan Disk, it gives a message that ScanDisk cannot run because another program is running. Don't know if this is related to Outlook problem

Any ideas as to how to solve this one? Any help will be appreciated.

What is logged to the Event Viewer regarding this?

Scandisk cannot be run because Windows is running on that disk. It prompts
you if you want it to start at next reboot instead.
