Running Duplicates Script

I tried to eliminate duplication in my Entourage Address Book by running a
script to categorize them, but I get an error message that says that
Entourage cannot find all messages. I think it has something to do with
either a name or address being missing from some entries. Is there any way
around this?

Exactly which script are you using? Have you tried any of the other scripts
to see if they work. Different scripts test different criteria.

I found it on the Entourage Help Page. It was the first one that categorizes
the entries and allows for the opportunity to look them over before deleting
any. The name of it is "Categorize Duplicate Contacts."

I just ran the script and had no problems. Did you have the Address Book
selected. You are saying you are using the remove duplicate contacts, but
your error indicates messages.

Another option is to use Apple's Address Book.

Turn on Sync Services in Entourage Preferences
Once they are synced to Apple's Address Book, under Card in the Menu bar
select "look for duplicates"
Once you have completed the clean up, turn Sync Services back on. Use the
option to sync the Address Book over Entourage.
