I have a new installation of Outlook 2007 (hard drives replaced). I did all
the right things to open my old pst file and use it and it's been working
fine. Suddenly I'm getting a runtime error, line 297, class not registered.
I'm not sure that I can point to an exact momemnt in time when it started to
occur as in "just after I installed thus and so program." I get it when
opening OL and when switching to the OL Today view. The only thread I found
here on the subject was basically a p***ing match in which the argument was
about who did/said the right or wrong thing and didn't seem to contain a
solution for me. Other online articles indicate a corrupted installation and
the need to remove and reinstall OL, which I am reluctant to do. The error
is just annoying in taht i can click through it but I'd love to have it gone.
Any help?
