Runtime error Outlook 2k on Windows 2K

After just a few hours searching these news groups and the
web I finally fixed my outlook 2000 runtime error. Every
time when a new message was to be created or a message was
opened recieved a runtime error:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" window with the
following contents:

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~2\OFFICE\OUTLOOK.EXE

abnormal program termination

Clicking on OK terminates Outlook.

The fix was to uninstall outlook 2k and then run
Microsofts outlook 2k eraser program to remove most
registry settings.
