All my emails, nicely filed in folders, show the same month for received or
sent date. No need to say that it is very difficult to find a message sent in
a specific month as now the month is January for each single message in any of
my folders.
Were these imported? I've seen some strange things with time, but not all
the same month. Many times sorting by sent rather than received will fix the
imported date problem.
My first thought is to check in System Preferences and make sure your date
is correctly. It could be a battery or PRAM problem. Do you see problems
with other files. Just check modified date for some recent files.
Next, download and run the Apple combo updater. Doing so overwrites
potentially problem-causing files. Combo updaters will install on the same
version as theyre applyingno need to roll back or do a clean install.

Still having problems? Try these steps:
Steps to help determine where the problem is located.
1) you can eliminate your Identity by creating a new Identity in Entourage
and see if you experience the same problem.
2) if a new Identity still exhibits the same issues, then create a new User
in System Preferences and test Entourage there. If the problem is in your
User's account, then log out/in with Shift key down to disable any startup
items. Test. If the problem still exists, it's most likely a preference file
that's corrupt. See these pages for help:
Troubleshooting Basics
3) If the problems still exist in the new User, it's a problem with your
Office install or your base OS files. If running the Apple combo does not
fix, then you might need to do an "Archive & Install".
Let me know what your testing finds.

Aloha Diane,[/QUOTE]
This is my first day on the MacTopia forums, so I might be doing this incorrectly. I have the same problem (i.e., all Sent and Deleted dates are the same--9/22/06)--happened after I installed Office 2008 to 2 Macs. The same thing is happening on both Macs, so obviously this is an Office/Entourage 2008 problem.
If I have posted incorrectly, please tell me how to proceed.
Mahalo!
