Same emails download again sporatically

For the last three days, some 2,200 emails that I leave on my servers will download again, causing thousands of duplicates or old emails to reappear. Do I simply need to reinstall Entourage 08?

No! If you rebuild, Entourage looses the IDs of mail that has been
downloaded and will download again. Sometimes your server burps and causes
this.

Your best option is to move all those old messages out of the Inbox so this
won't happen.

POP mail is meant to be downloaded then deleted from the server. Many POP
accounts have limits on how much mail you can store. You might consider
using an IMAP account instead where everything is kept on the server.

To get rid of duplicates use one of the scripts to remove duplicates.
