Save a meeting without sending it again

I'm organising a meeting sent to an email group. One of the people in the
group is unable to respond, so I want to add her response manually, but the
only options are to 'Save Changes and send update' or 'Don't save changes',
neither of which is appropriate.

How do I save the change without sending the update losing the responses
I've already had?
