Save as HTML Image Issue

Hello, I am using the save as html functionality within word 2003. In some
cases an image will become distorted when viewing the html version. It is
suprising that this only happens in Internet Explorer. The images looks fine
in netscape and firefox. Can anyone explain this? You would think IE should
handle it better than the other browsers. It happens on rare occasions.
