save as webpage

When I save my presentation as a Webpage, there are xml, html, jpg, gif, ...
files created in a folder.
My question is now: how does ppt generate this html & xml-files? Is there a
webpage or tutorial that explaines how a powerpoint-presentation is
converted into a webpage (timing, text, gifs, dynamic movements, ...
included).
I need to know how they are created, and in which file i can find all the
information.
thnx, KuvaK

The how's and why's AFAIK are not readily available, unless you can get them
directly form Microsoft. Again, AFAIK, there are not Tutorials on this subject
matter. I'd be interested in knowing why you have to know this information.
