I was able to find how to write a macro in the VBE to save the date file was saved to the footer
Now, can someone walk me through the steps to make this work across all new workbooks. Please
I tried adding the module to the following location
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart\Personal
and the file inside the personal folder is module1.bas (not quite sure what a .bas extension is, come to think of it) and yet when I created a new workbook, this macro was nowhere to be found
