Save file with errors

When I save a completed slides, I got error as below;_

Save with Fonts
A Chinese font is not installed.

In the slides, there is no Chinese. The save is ok. Can someone advise me
how to get rid of it.

In addition, when I open the file, I got an error message saying that "This
presentation might contain Far East text and formats the PowerPoint can't
display.". I did not notice any error in my presentation. How can I remove
such false statement.

Thanks for your information. I believe my problem is exactly what describes
in the given articles. Once I use PowerPoint 2002 instead of PowerPoint 97
on the same pc, both errors disappear. However, the suggested solutions
won't work on my case. For example, replaced font did not work on my
presentation - it cannot allow me to replace with other fonts. I could not
find any font face in the webpage using Saving as webpage method. Any other
solution?

Ray,

did you follow the tips about where to search for the problem font?

e.g. in pasted objects / ole objects / masters (notes/handouts)

A different Save File problem. How does one determine what fonts can be Saved?
Just finished a document, then when trying to save got the message that the
font that was used would not save. I'd like to know which ones PP will
accept, then delete all the others. Using XP and PP 2002.

At http://www.microsoft.com/typography/FreeToolsOverview.mspx there is a very
handy tool to download called Font Properties Extension. Once installed you can
right click any font file and determine whether its licensing restricts you from
embedding the font.
