PowerPoint XP/2002's web output is more faithful to the actual PowerPoint
presentation since it does support animations and other niceties through the
use of DHTML/XML.
Another alternative is to allow download of actual PowerPoint files on the
web - and you can zip them to make smaller downloads. Also, include a link
to the free PowerPoint Viewer page, so that people who have no PowerPoint
installed can view the content.
