Oops! Forgot one more thing I'd like to put in my project.
Now that it's designed and works properly I have to make sure the data
is saved.
Here's the scenario:
Large gated community where visitors are issued passes.
A visitor drives up to the Gatehouse to be issued a pass.
Across a row, the guard types in the Pass Number, the Expiration Date
of the pass, the Visitors Name, and the Resident's Name that the
visitor is going to see - and will do the same on the next row down for
the next visitor - and so on.
The guard inserts a pre-printed pass, with places on it where the above
info will be printed, into the printer and clicks the "Print" button
(which is a commandbutton).
The pass is printed, spit out of the printer and the guard hands it to
the visitor who continues on his/her way.
To keep a record of issued passes, the guard now clicks on the "Save"
button (also a commandbutton) and the procedure is complete, everything
is cool, everybody is happy and the guard can go back to sleep....haha.
Now the good part!
I would like to make this a template and have my "Save" button save
each new entry into another worksheet and added to previous entries
saved there. That way I will retain a pass log if the template is
closed.
I hope this makes sense. Is it possible?
Thanks
Johnnie
