Save word file path to access links field

Is there a way to have a macro/VBA code that allows you to
link/save the file name and path to MS Access.

Yes, that should be possible. DAO and ADO both will let you
write values to a table in Access. There's a WdAcc97.zip file
under Mail Merge FAQ/Special Merges/Complex merges on my
website that shows the basics of how to pass information
between word and Access. And I believe there's also an
article on the mvps.org/word website.

If you need to follow up on this, you'd be more likely to get
a quick response in one of the word.vba newsgroups. This is
an end-user group
