Saved attachments on desktop

All my received attachments are being displayed on my desktop which is
getting crowded. How can I set a location on my HD for all email
attachments. These attached files are not ones that I've saved, all
attachments sent to me are displayed on the desktop. I understand
about saved attachments being stored in the Saved Attachments folder
in the MS User Data folder. I'm using V10.1.4 on OSX10.3.1

Entourage does not automatically save attachments out of the database as
they are received. There are several scripts that do this ('Claris it',
'Friendlier Claris it' and some others). Have you installed one of these
scripts, being triggered by a mail rule?
