Saving accounts

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a 200gb hard drive that I am going to install into my
macbook, but since I don't have much things to backup Im not going to go the
cloning of the HD route...instead I just want to save some necessary files,
install HD and then reinstall OS from the disks included...

My question is, I don't want to lose all of my emails, attachments, and
projects in Entourage...How can I save them so that when I reinstall
entourage it will be exactly how I left it??

Thanks

Hi Charles,

simply create a backup copy of the Microsoft User Data folder
(~/Documents/Microsoft User Data). That folder contains, among other things,
the Office 2004 Identities folder, which is where Entourage stores its data.
Note that this folder has to be inside your own user account's Documents
folder when you restore it to your new hard drive, otherwise, Entourage will
not be able to access it.
