saving an office xp ppt onto cd that will play unaltered on any pc

I have created a superb ppt in office xp. How do I save it onto cd so that
all transitions and animation will play unaltered when the cd is palyed on a
pc with an earlier version of ppt? Is there a way to save the ppt as an
individual item not totally reliant on the ppt settings present on the pc?
