Saving Attachments to Desktop, Sometimes Doesn't Showup

When I save attachments to the desktop from Entourage, the file that I
saved, mostly a .doc file, but sometimes others files, doesn't show up on my
desktop. When I search in Spotlight, the file IS there, but I do not see it
on my desktop when moving everything away. 95% of the time it works, but
sometimes it does not. I am also using dual monitors. Has anyone else
experienced this before?

I have dual monitors and don't have this problem. I would create a folder on
your desktop for attachments and just drag to the folder rather than the
desktop.

If you keep a lot of files here, you might want to attach a folder action so
each time you add a file it gets placed in a folder with the date.
