Saving Backups of Emails

Please help me! i want to burn a cd with backups of all my emails to
free space in my account and in my computer, so if anyday i have a
problem i want to be able to recover them. How can i do this?

What version of entourage?

E2004 has an export command available in the file menu. Previous versions
you can drag a folder of mails to the desktop to create a MBOX file (which
can be searched with any text editor or dragged back into entourage if
wanted again).

After archiving and deleting the mail you need to compact the database to
recover the space freed up. Start up entourage with the option key held down
until you see the rebuild screen and choose the first option.
