Saving of Power Point to CD

Seems that it worked fine with Power Point 2003 prior to the installation of
the new security patch!! I did not have a problem prior to the installation
and manged to save to a CD. I managed to make a copy to a blank CD, not CD
RW, by clicking several times when the message came up: Insert a blank CD
etc.. Do not know why. This program is srewed up as so many Microsoft
programs.

Windows does the write to CD, not PowerPoint. If you're having a problem, you
can bypass the write to CD by Packaging to a Folder and then use your CD burning
software to burn the contents of the folder to a CD. That's my preference
anyway, because I like the control that Nero gives me.

I haven't applied SP2 to Windows XP yet and haven't heard of anyone having this
problem with it. Maybe others will let us know what their experience has been
with Package for CD since installing SP 1.

(That should be SP 2).
