sbc yahoo with Entouarge

I have recently purchased a mac and am trying to use Entourage mail
with a dial up
sbc yahoo internet connection. After calling prodigy and apple help
several times I have the following settings: pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
, same for smtp and pop.prodigy.yahoo.com, same for smtp. Every time I
call prodigy, I get a different answer for the settings. I have been
able to receive mail, but cannot send mail. I get an error message
23016 "a connection failure has occured". Recently, I had a problem
receiving mail too!
I tried to use the mail that comes with the mac, but prodigy will not
accept my password?
Help!!!

First, are you using SBC Yahoo, OR are you using SBC Prodigy? SBC switched
from Prodigy to Yahoo many months ago, but users had the option of staying
with Prodigy for email.

For Yahoo, the settings should be:

Account ID: [email protected] (must have full email here)
POP server: pop.prodigy.yahoo.com

SMTP server: smtp.prodigy.yahoo.com
