scaling of decimal value in data truncation

Please be advised that I have a report in access called Last receipt report
but whenever I typed in the beginning rack and ending rack or select them
from the drop down on the form I get a window box stating
"scaling of decimal value in data truncation"

first, what does this mean?
second, how can I resolve this issue?

Please help!!!
