Scan Exact size

I have a microtek scanner (low-end) and Publisher 98. Last night
I scanned an image into Publisher, and when the image was displayed in
Publisher, it was way bigger than the original. I could resize the
image, but I would really like the scanned image in Publisher to be the
eact size of the scanned image.
Does Publisher 2003 do a better job of this and does the Photo package
that comes with Publisher Pro replace PictureIt?
Thank for your help.

Use your scanner software to scan in the image, not Publisher. Once image is
scanned, edit to proper dimensions and then insert into Publisher.

==============================
The image editing software bundled with
"Publisher 2003 with Digital Imaging" is
"Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10".

If you have a previous version of Picture It!...
you can continue to run it as DIP10 will not
require you to uninstall it.

Here's a link to more info:

The current versions of Picture It! /
Digital Image are as follows:
