Schedule appointment that automatically includes contact informat.

I use contact manager to schedule follow-up telephone calls. I like to
automate this procedure.
When I have a contact open and I select action, new appointment, I'm
presented with a blank schedule appointment for. Is it possible to
automatically insert the contact name and telephone number into the news
scheduled appointment. Or is there a better way to do this?

Try right-clicking the contact (while it's not open) and dragging it to the
Calendar folder. You'll get options for creating a new appointment with text
from the contact item, or adding the contact item as an attachment to the
appointment, etc.
