Scheduling in Entourage

I am using Entourage as a client on my Microsoft Exhange Server. When
I create a calendar item and try to invite other users, the scheduling
function does not work. I cannot see any of my scheduled items, or the
invited users' free or busy times. The calendar jsut shows gray for
them and for me . . and the legend indicates that this means "no
information"

The information I find about Entourage indicates that the scheduling
function is supposed to work. Has anyone solved this issue?

Thanks.

Go to Tools > Accounts, and open your Exchange account. Click the
"Advanced" tab. Make sure that the settings under "Public folder settings"
are correct. Often, using the Exchange Server and adding /public to the end
will work.

Check out this site for more information about using Exchange Server with
Entourage:

It seems the problem was that I had not checked the ssl option for the
public folder. Doing so then returned an error that said I needed to
iunstall a root certificate since we use a nonstandard CA. My
administrator gave me the correct root certificate, which I installed
according to Entourage Help.

Now there is still one issue. When I try to schedule a meeting and
click the scheduling tab - I get an error that still says Unable to
establish a secure connection to . . . . because the correct root
certificate is not installed. . . . " BUT NOW, when I click ok, it
goes out and pulls the scheduling information across (which it did not
do before I installed the root certificate).

So, I have the functionality I was looking for, but only after the
error message.

Surely this must be simple, but I cannot find the answer. I had high
hopes for the site that you gave me below, because there is an article
entitled "Working around SSL Root Certificate Errors with Entourage
2004 and Microsoft Exchange" but when I click the link, the article is
not there.

Thanks for any additional help you can provide.
