Script - contacts

I have done some VBA development and have created a script for Outlook
to fill an address book with contacts from an Access database -
basically to make e-mail addresses easily accessible from within
Outlook. I now have a user using Entourage 2001 that would like this
same functionality, using a Filemaker Pro database. I know that
Entourage can be programmed using Applescript, but I have absolutely
no experience with this. Is what I have described possible, and if so,
could someone point me in the right direction to get started?

Take a look at some of the scripts at <www.scriptbuilders.net>. There are
hundreds there for Entourage, and the vast majority are 'open access'
(meaning you can read the source, I make no statement about copyright, which
is subject to individual authors discretion).
