Script wanted for moving Reply messages to same folder as original

I have over 8000 Sent messages in my Sent Items folder. I would like
to
find/write a script that will move all that are replies to the same
folder that the original that I replied to was moved to. For example,
if I get a message from Joe in my inbox and I reply to it. Later I
move
that message from Joe to the "Case Studies" folder I've created, I
also
want Entourage to move my reply message to that folder as well. It
could be either automatic, or once a week, I could run the script and
it would move everything. It seems like it should be possible since
the
messages are linked and remain linked independent of what folder they
are in. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Sure: always check first at

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

and search on a few likely words in the Entourage category, such as "reply
same folder"

You'll find my "File Reply in Same Folder X" script there.

Actually, "reply same folder" did not find it - or anything else.
After finding it by searching for "Berkowitz" I cut and pasted various
parts of the title into the search box.
"Reply" found it.
"Reply in same folder" found it and put it first.

Btw."Professor of Piano": how cool even to be qualified to hold such a
position!
Impressive, very impressive.

Thanks for the lead. I installed it, but it will only work for old
messages if I select each one individually and then go to script menu
and select script. I have almost 6000 messages in there. If I select a
group of them and try to run the script, it doesn't do anything. Any
suggestions?

Hi Paul, Hoping you'll check back in and let me know how I can do the
whole sent items folder at one time (see note below).
