Here is the situation.
I am at an office with several G5's all running 10.3.5. All of the
computers must be under the same identity (let's say, "office") at all
times. I am attempting to use Entourage as our main mail application
but have run into the problem of there being no password protection on
Identities.
I have read in other posts, and on Microsoft's support site that the
reason Entourage does not support password protection on Identities is
because OS X is user based, and people should just create another
account in OS X. For me, this is not an option.
If anyone has already, or can write a script that will allow Entourage
to ask for a password when changing identities, or even has a thought
on if this will work at all, that would be greatly appreciated.
Again, because of the workflow of the office it is not possible to
create new user accounts in OS X for each user of the computer.
Thank you for your help.
Regards,
Aaron
